Itinerary
Day 1: NJP/Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Arrive NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling, en route visiting Mirick Lake and the Nepal border.
Day 2: Darjeeling
Full day city tour of Darjeeling including the Himalayan Zoological Park, the Mountaineering Institute, the ropeway, the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, tea estates and the Peace Pagoda.
Day 3: Darjeeling - Kalimpong
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, then transfer to Kalimpong with sightseeing at Deolo Hill, Dr Graham Homes School and the nurseries.
Day 4: Kalimpong - Gangtok
Transfer to Gangtok with a half day city tour covering the Directorate of Handicrafts, Enchey Monastery, the Research Institute of Tibetology and Rumtek Monastery.
Day 5: Gangtok
Full day tour of Tsangu Lake and Baba Mandir. Overnight Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok - NJP/Bagdogra
Transfer to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for the onward journey. Tour ends.
