Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi/Kolkata - Dimapur - Kohima

Arrive Dimapur and drive to Kohima, Nagaland. Overnight Kohima.

Day 2: Hornbill Festival

Opening ceremony of the Hornbill Festival at the heritage village near Kohima.

Day 3: Hornbill Festival

World War II memorial and day 2 of the festival. Overnight Kohima.

Day 4: Hornbill Festival - Khonoma

Day 3 of the festival and a trip to Khonoma village. Overnight Kohima.

Day 5: Kohima - Kaziranga

Visit the local market, then drive to Kaziranga National Park.

Day 6: Kaziranga

Morning elephant safari and afternoon jeep safari. Overnight Kaziranga.

Day 7: Kaziranga - Majuli

Ferry ride to Majuli, the largest river island, with a monastery visit and a village walk.

Day 8: Majuli - Guwahati

Transfer to Guwahati airport for the onward journey. Tour ends.
