Detailed Tour Itinerary | 09 to 11 Days

Day 01- Group will be reaching Shimla at 10 AM by train from Kalka. Meet – greet at Shimla railway station and drive to Sangla (Shimla-Sangla)- Along with the Bapsa river magically weaving itself through the forested slopes, this exquisite 95 kilometer stretch of the Sangla Valley is a sight to behold. Reach Sangla by afternoon. Later we visit Chitkul. Overnight at Sangla.

Day 02- Sangla-Kalpa- Today we drive from Sangla valley to Kalpa. en route visit Kamru fort and village. An exotic image of Lord Buddha at the Fort’s main gate and an image of Kamakhya Devi are the unique features of this fort. Kalpa has been declared as the heritage village and view of the Kinner Kailash is amazing. Ovrnight stay at Kalpa.

Day 03- Kalpa-nako- Today visit Nako.It is a beautiful village located around a small lake. It is believed that Padmasambhava on his return from Tibet stopped here.
 Night stay at hotel.

Day 04- Nako-tabo- Drive to tabo ,enroute visit pin valley mudh village from where bhawa trek starts.one can visit gue village where you can find one of the oldest sitting mummy . Reach Tabo by evening. Tabo is called as the Ajanta of Himalaya. The monastery is about 1014 years old. Overnight at Tabo

Day 05- Tabo –kaza- After exploring tabo monastery drive to Dhankar Gompa- located on a cliff, was a prison in early days. One can have splendid view of the Pin and Spiti rivers from the Monastery. Further, drive up to Kaza.

Day 06- Kaza- The capital of Spiti, Kaza is the largest settlement you will encounter in the whole valley. Visit the Key Monastery, which is almost 1000 years old, and get fascinated. Also visit Kibber, which is one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Spend the rest of the day on your own exploring the barren beauty of Spiti Valley. O/N @ Kaza

Day 07- Kaza-chandertaal- Spiti’s lunar like landscape is dotted with Buddhist monasteries, small villages and high altitude lakes and is often called ‘little Tibet’.En-route visit kunzum mata temple at kunzum pass.By evening reach at chandertaal camp.Star gazing at night.

Day 08- Chandertaal-Manali- Chandra Tal (4270 m / 14000 ft ) a beautiful lake of 2.5 km circumference and now declared a Ramsar wetland site. After visiting chandertaal drive towards manali.  Crossing the high altitude pass of Rohtang Pass we’ll enter Manali. Enroute you will be visit Khoksar, (the last village of lahaul valley before you enter into kullu valley after crossing Rohtang Pass) you will also cross  Marhi, Rahala water Fall. Reach Manali by the late afternoon / evening.

Day 09 to 11- Proceed on a half day tour of Manali, situated in the Valley of Gods; a combination of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Then the 5000 year old Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhim of Mahabharat. It has a four – tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. Later drive to Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. Afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to simply relax or explore the city of Manali on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel. 
Visit Naggar Heritage village, Naggar castle, Nicolas Roerich Art Gallary. Visit jana water fall at beautiful village jana. One day at leisure.

Day 12 – Manali to chandigarh drop, tour ends.
